I noticed this squirrel setting on a branch directly over my concrete block. The branch is about 10 foot above the block. The squirrel would aim the nut over the block and drop it . He has very good aim ,I don't think I have seen him miss yet .This would cause a crack in the nut .He would then break open the nut and lay out the pieces on the block . He always faces my basement door so it makes it hard to get my door open to get a good clear shot of him with my camera . I guess he finely realized I wasn't going to bother him and I got the door open and the tripod in place and got the photo .
