This patch of white daisies has been in the same spot in my front garden for longer than my 61 years on Earth. They were planted by my late Grandmother, Gertrude Ferguson sometime between 1921 when she and my Granfather bought the property and 1942 when my grandmother bought a corner store and moved to Brisbane, selling the property to my parents. My grandfather, Alex Ferguson had died suddenly in 1936 following a stroke. The plants almost died out in a severe drought about 8 years ago but survived and I now have other clumps established.

Nice Image great story, when I first saw them Don, I thought that you had been walking along Langston Harbour as just a few weeks ago while I was walking with my Grandson, he spotted two Daises in a field of green just like these two in full bloom ..they really are lovely, beautiful contrast and lovely early dew :-)
