Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at the sea side in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos, Nigeria.

Time

This was taken in the morning when the sun had risen and clouds peaceful, I remember I was doing my site walk round inside Eko Atlantic city around 11am.

Lighting

There's really nothing to share about the lighting because the weather is very peaceful as at the time of the shot.

Equipment

This was shot on a Sony Xperia V mobile phone with camera LT25i and f/2.4. No other equipment was used.

Inspiration

I never saw a ship at a particalar spot for more than 20minutes, seeing this ship amazed me and at that distance with the beautiful city scape of Victoria Island behind it make me go for the shot.

Editing

I call myself a smartphone photographer because all my photos are taken with my Sony Xperia and the processing are done with the photo editor downloaded on my phone. I used google photo edit and then finish it up with Cymera. All processing are phone filters no photoshop edits at all.

In my camera bag

I'm not a professional photographer so I don't have bag for camera equipments. I hope to be one someday. I'm just a smartphone photographer, its just me and my smartphone.

Feedback

The best way or time to capture something like this is to make sure the weather is friendly and peaceful, also make sure that the sunrise is not in direct contact to your lens. If all this are taken into consideration, walk majestically and take as more shots as possible.
