Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Lima, Peru's waterfront area. Our photo group walked along the lake-shore and we came upon thins small reflective pool.I just loved the arches and people being reflected from that pool.

Time

The photo was taken around noon time.It was a grey day and a bit misty.

Lighting

Lighting was diffused due to being a cloudy day which is great for black and white photography.

Equipment

Even though I had my Nikon D700 with me, I shot this with my Sony RX 100 point and shoot camera.

Inspiration

I love reflections so when I came upon this reflective pool I just had to take some photos.

Editing

I used Photoshop Camera Raw as the initial post editing and then further edits were done using Nik Software's SIlver FX PRO to achieve the final black and white edit.

In my camera bag

At this time I have the Nikon D810, Nikon D750, Sigma 50mm 1.4, Sigma 150-600mm, Tokina 16-28 F2.8, Sigma 24-105 ART lens, Nikon 24-70 F2.8. SB 800 and SB 600 flashes, Elinchrom SKYPORT flash triggers.

Feedback

Just look out for any bodies of water after a rain storm or anyplace that use a reflective pond.
