Thanks so much! Everyone waited at least an hour to try and get some in flight shots since unlike me they didn't see him coming in. However when he left to return to his nest and mate he split so quick that they still go no in flight shots off. I for sure feel pretty fortunate to have gotten both. Man my heart is filled with joy having this guy to add to my list birds seen and captured.

Beautiful detail and composition. Superb photograph

After he flew past and over me he perched in this tree for the next hour and half. All of the photographers who missed him flying in were jealous I was the only to get on him. However we all enjoyed chatting while we sat there snapping these stills of him sitting there keeping a look out for some easy pickings on food. Instead when he left he went back to his nest where his mate was.
