A portrait photograph of probably the love of my life, my niece.
The photo was taken inside but only with use of sunlight and one reflection screen. The sun comes from the top side of the picture and the reflection screen was on the right bottom side just to lighten up the shadows…

I love the light, the relaxed creases of skin, the moisture-darkened slightly wavy hair, the pursed baby lips and unlined eyelids, the eyelashes, the contentment and sureness of herself that come through so strongly.
