Navajo silversmith and jeweler Frederick Henry crafts radiant necklaces, bracelets, and earrings in his temporary workshop in the Canyon de Chelly Visitor Center in Chinle, Ariz. World renowned landscape photographer Ansel Adams made a candid portrait of Henry's mother in 1942 in the canyon holding his then baby step-brother and since becoming aware of this the majority of Henry's work now features a small rendition of that image cut into the jewelry. A visitor to the park shops Frederick's creations in the background.
