An example of natural light indoors- the sun shining through the window.Time
This image was taken on an October day around 2 pm.Lighting
I prefer natural light more than studio lighting and flash. As you can see, natural light really made this image stand out creating very nice color.Equipment
I used my Canon Digital Rebel XSi. Focal Length: 55.0 mm Using Aperture values 3.5-5.7 and no flash.Inspiration
I wasn't looking, at the time, to take a picture. Seeing the effects of the light through things around the kitchen I used a few items before pulling my columbine plant over. I knew then it would be lovely. Nature indoors. Then I thought, let's see what it will look like taking 3 different exposures and merging them together. That is how this image came to be.Editing
I used photoshop to merge the images together and that was about it. No color change or anything. In my camera bag
Now days I carry two cameras, my 5 lenses, battery charger, filters, remote, and sd cards.Feedback
I really don't have any advice, other than using bracketing for exposure was the key element in taking this image. It cam out clear and added the different tones of light.
