Written on behalf of the wonderful Horse herd that we manage on a remote Horse Ranch in British Columbia, Canada. The quote is addressed to all those human caregivers who have reached that place in their journey where their care is no longer beneficial to the horse(s). We have seen it time and time again where folks love their horses to begin with and then tire of them and following that neglect is often close on its heels. The words are intended as a reality check, a nudge to the conscience in the hopes that those who no longer wish to have horses in their care, will give them up, sell them, pass them on to those who do. No judgement is intended, it is written to apply to myself as much as to any other person blessed with the management or care of horses everywhere.
