This photo of one of the beautiful lower sections of Kuang Si Falls taken while on holiday in Luang Prabang, Laos, taken several years ago now.Time
We were on a private guided tour of the area and it would have been around midday as we made our way up through the many levels of these lovely falls. This is one of my favourite shots from the area.Lighting
The lighting on the falls is highlighted by the softening of the light around the edges by the tropical vegetation.Equipment
The shot is hand-held on the Fuji Finepix S8100 camera I was using at the timeInspiration
As well as being a record of our visit to Laos, waterfalls are a favourite subject and these falls are very photogenic, especially the lower sections in their tropical setting and the lovely aqua colour of the water, more so than the main fall in my personal opinion.Editing
There was no post-processing of this shot.In my camera bag
I normally take my pocket-sized Nikon Coolpix S9600 with me most times I go out. This year I have been learning how to use my Nikon D3500 with 80-200m lens.Feedback
I consider myself very much an amateur when it comes to photography. I have been taking lessons on using my DSLR camera prior to COVID-19 restrictions. The only advice I can give is to get out and enjoy your photography
