I'm a batik maker + designer from Solo, Central Java. Photography is one of my way / media to capture the beauty of my works, my environment, and the people + the nature around me. This photo was taken around my Tirtanajma Batik studio.Time
After the Subuh (dawn praying time). around 5.00 am, I usually take a walk / my bicycle for little exercise with my Nikon D3200 kit inside my backpack. Yes, it is a bit heavy, but it makes me ready to capture the wonder and inspirations around my batik studio / workshop.Lighting
The nature provides us with the best lighting. Therefore I always try to maximize the ambient / natural light in my photographs.Equipment
Since I have to be ready all the time to take the moments, I always bring my Nikon D3200 with Nikkor 28-55 mm + Nikkor 55-200 mm lenses + a small pillow as the very light+practical replacement of tripod inside my small backpack.Inspiration
handmade batik + arts+ crafts are always wonderful things for all of us, and those all around me only a few steps to reach it. This soccer field turned to be a batik field in the morning, which helped many small entrepreneurs who needed extra area to dried their fabricsEditing
Sometimes I need a little digital post production with Adobe Lightroom for enhancement. Basically I just capture the beauty of moments. Therefore I use more time for the photo setting (if needed) + capturing, rather than the post-processing.In my camera bag
I always bring my Nikon D3200 with Nikkor 28-55 mm + Nikkor 55-200 mm lenses + a small pillow as the very light+practical replacement of tripod inside my small backpack.Feedback
A "drive-through" photographer could capture fine photos by practice & luck. The "live-in" photographer could harvest awesome moments from the planted tree.
