Behind The Lens
Location
I took this at Hourtin Plage, western FranceTime
early morningLighting
clear sky, quite dry air, so good clarityEquipment
Nikon D60, AF-S Nikkor 18-200mm 1.35-5.6 G, hand-held (cant remember which f-stop but was aiming to stretch the contrast)Inspiration
the tide was going out and I liked how the water was creating root-like markings on the sand, and there were some multicoloured reflections of the sand as the sun came up over the duneEditing
only very basic, I have no photoshop etc, I like to take pictures of what I see rather than create an image out of what was really there.. I used Iphoto and (again) stretched the contrast. otherwise its very much a WYSIWYG picture.. most of mine are.In my camera bag
My Nikon D60 or D70S, AF-S Nikkor 18-200mm 1.35-5.6 G, sometimes my F2 (yes, still have it) or my Voigtlander Bessamatic.. if I am purposely going for monochromeFeedback
As a colourblind (browngreen) musician & hypnotherapist.. I'd only suggest to watch everything and try using your other eye when looking through the lens, you will see another world. at least that's one thing I do. I like to photograph what I see - and avoid post-processing unless I am playing - the world is already beautiful enough.. wrinkles show character, and nothing is ugly
