Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Massena, NY as a Senior picture. This young lady is my daughter and she was trying to find her path in life. This represents her " pause" in the road to determine her destination in life.

Time

This was taken in the evening when traffic is rare.

Lighting

The lighting was provided through external flash to highlight her features.

Equipment

I used a Canon XTI with a generic external flash. The lens was a 85mm Canon lens.

Inspiration

The inspiration of this photo was to show the challenges of being a teen and taking good directions in life to have a fulfilling future.

Editing

This photo possessed no post processing.

In my camera bag

Currently, my bag holds a Canon 6D, 55mm lens, 85 mm lens and 2 external flashes.

Feedback

Only advice is to have the camera ready and ask the person posing to place herself/himself in a specific position in haste. Be sure to find a location in which you can see for a distance to spot any moving vehicles. Also, another important point is to find a safe low traffic road.
