In the bad winter whilst the really bad weather was here there were waves higher than the steeple on this church!!

Location

My Sue bought me a 50mm1.8 for Christmas! So I put it on Miriam (my 550t2icanon) and took a quick shot of Millie my border collie! In the living room!

Time

It was about 1500hrs with some nice light coming through the window.

Lighting

The light was coming through the window which was sufficient for the shot!.

Equipment

Hand held 550t2i canon, 50mm1.8

Inspiration

I really don't need any inspiration! I'll take a photograph of anything if it stays still long enough! Or even if it doesn't!

Editing

I don't know how to do it yet! Give me chance I'm still learning the camera!!

In my camera bag

I've got two bags one big and one small . The big one is an eos rucksack, which I keep the majority of my "stuff" The small one I take everywhere I go it contains my camera with the 50mm attached, a spare lens which at the moment is a 55_200mm 1.4_5.6tamron lens,hoods for both ,a remote control ,three spare batteries,spare memory card patch lead for the TV .A selection of UV lenses in both 52mmand58mm.Two infra red lenses in 52and58mm, The rucksack contains colour lenses of both sizes,a full set of detachable macro lenses ,a speed flash,a canon 35_80mm lens a canon22_55mm lens a canon 70_300mm USM lens ,a canon 18_55mm kit lens,a large heavy screw on macro lens a screw on wide angle lens a screw on fish eye lens,and finally spare lens hoods of different sizes!

Feedback

Please get a 50mm1.8!! Its my favorite lens of them all it takes brilliant photographs of people ,it can be used as a landscape lens ! Ask other photographers about lenses before you buy them ! There are lots of used lenses on eBay but be sure you are buying the lens which you really need not one for adornment (to look like a pro!)
