This was part of the 365 day project and probably the year I learned and improved the most in my photography. It wasn't an easy project but I pushed myself to take a photo each day. This was taken in the Fall months. I had decided to try to take some self portraits to get myself used to being in front of the camera for once. The background was a photograph I had taken about a month before while out at a park. This had started out as a double exposure experiment and the first double exposure image I had ever made. I spent hours editing and tweaking the two images and somehow I still was not satisfied with the image! And yet it is now one of my most popular and favorite images I have ever created. We all can be so hard on ourselves and if this photo has taught me anything, it has taught me to be more confident and to know when to take it easy on yourself.
