Vervet Monkeys are the best opportunistic thieves on the planet. Many a time I've had my breakfast/lunch/dinner stolen by these little bastards. They're a good 'watchdog' though if there's a snake in a nearby tree though!

I think "little bastards" is the correct description of these monkeys, I have them in my garden and at times they manage to get in the house and steel the fruit and bread.
