When I got to Trillium Lake there were about 20 other photographers there attending one of Gary Randall's workshops. I walked up to the bank, pulled out my tripod, set up my camera and snapped this shot. First shot of the night. That doesn't happen very often. I decided to keep the photographer in the shot because I felt it gave the viewer a subtle look at what it's like to shoot scenes like this.
