Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture at the zoo in Kazan, Russia

Time

I took this picture on a cloudy day in early winter 2013. On the day I photographed many animals, but the snow leopard turned out better than anyone.

Lighting

I did not use any additional lighting. Only natural light.

Equipment

I have used this equipment: camera Nikon D3000, lens Nikon 50 mm/1.8. No more equipment.

Inspiration

I like to photograph animals, especially cats. I did a lot of photos of this leopard. At one point, leopard yawned and I caught this moment.

Editing

Oh, yes. I turned the photo in black and white, then crop and gently turned.

In my camera bag

Usually this camera Nikon D3200, Nikon lenses 18-55 mm / 3.5-5.6 mm and 50 mm / 1.8, flash Doerr 42, radiosinhronizator, reverse ring, neutral gray filters, polarizing filter. More take a tripod Recam.

Feedback

I advise you not to rush, to observe the animals a bit longer, and take not only when it is stationary, but especially when is active. This will require a lot of patience and time.
