This photo was taken in my basement one evening when I was bored and looking for something fun to do.Time
This was later in the evening when I felt like doing something creative and fun - I needed the room to be dark to create the atmosphere and lighting.Lighting
The lighting is what made the photo - pain staking placing of the lights to make it look like it was pouring wine - but in the end the picture tells the story!Equipment
This was shot on my Canon Mark 5D Mark 3 - on a tripod with with very shallow DOFInspiration
I was bored and looking at doing something creative and thought I would take advantage of the dark and try some bokeh photography but being creative - I placed a wine glass on a small table and then in the distance i hung a string of lights but I positioned them to look like the light was coming from the bottle into the glass - took a while to get it realistic but when I finally took the shot it was amazing ... I ended up switching to a coolers string of lights and that was great also ...Editing
This was one photo that had no post processing - the bokeh turned out perfect and I left it as is.In my camera bag
I try to keep it simple but if I am going out to get various shots I will take my camera, my 24-`105 lens, 70-200 zoom lens and lately after picking one up my 17 -40 wide angle which I am enjoying more trying to be more creative with. I try and bring along my tripod when I can but mostly for long exposure shots ...Feedback
Creativity starts with you - don't limit yourself to the ordinary - try and see something different and try it out - with digital you can afford the shots and the creativity - there should be nothing stoping you... Happy Shooting!
