Location
It was taken in Paris.Time
It was late night .. around 11:00 PM.Lighting
The lighting being the main reason why I took this photo :) This structure looks amazing at night. The other important aspect of this photo was the reflection. Had to wait for quite some time to get the perfectly still water to get a clean reflection.Equipment
600D, 17-40 F4L, tripod.Inspiration
This structure is one of the most photographed object in the whole world. I wanted to give it a bit of different look and feel. The golden light against the dark blue sky always make the subject look much more rich. Hence I waited till late night for (it was Summer) the blue hour. Next thing was the reflection. I had to wait for the breeze to be settled to get a still water. But the most important part of this composition was the triangular golden line in the foreground of the frame that give that "unique" look to this composition. It brings in more symmetry to the whole composition.Editing
Not really. Just RAW to JPEG conversion. In my camera bag

If you are photographing a well known architecture, look for different perspective or element to be added in the composition. It can as well be an unusual source of light, or a different elevation and so on..!
