Location
This photo shows the Petit Minou lighthouse. This lighthouse is situated in the northwest of France, more precisely in the town of Plouzané in the Finistère department. For information, this building dates from 1848.Time
This image was taken November 4, 2010 at 4:56 p.m. (local time), it's one of my best achievements. During the visit to this beautiful place, I did not think to take pictures given the bad weather conditions, the weather was gloomy and rainy and the light did not seem to be of the party. But after a while on the premises, thanks to the wind, the sky is slightly cleared and I could make some shots.Lighting
I saw immediately that he had to play with light and the contrast offered by the sky and all of this construction.Equipment
For this picture I used my case I had at that time, a Nikon D60 which I mounted my super wide angle lens Tamron 10 / 24mm which for me was the ideal lens for the photo I wanted make.Inspiration
The sky loaded, the winding path have all of followed me want to make a shot with a prospect, so I framed the subject vertically to keep the sky creepage and the whole construction is ie the lighthouse but also the way to take advantage of the paved structure.Editing
Achieving the photo was taken in native format Nikon (NEF), I wanted retouched this photo in black and white to give it more weight, so I used my Adobe Lightroom editing software). Rework on the lights, the contrasts have allowed me to give a slightly dramatic effect to this photo. In my camera bag
When I go, I always have my two favorite targets, namely my TAMRON 10 / 24mm to tune bidders landscapes beautiful vistas and my Nikon 1.4 / 50mm for working under low light portraits, then of course my camera: Nikon D7100 and the following objectives and materials: Nikon 18 / 105mm Tamron 2.8 / 90 mm macro Nikon 55/200 mm Nikon SB 700 Tripod: Vanguard UV Filters, PolarizerFeedback
I want to say first that I am not a professional and in my humble opinion I will tell them: Luckily, a photo can never be performed identically, as many factors come into play to its realization (the eye of the photographer, time, light the time of the shooting etc ...) which allows each of us to shoot the same subject with a different interpretation and that the only purpose to have it transmit to their reader picture the same emotions in the shooting.
