Welcome to Big Bear Lake, Ca

This is Ski Beach at Meadow Park and it's my favorite spot to watch the sunset.
I bring my family and friends here when they come to visit to view our spectacular skies.
The White building in the background is one of the largest solar observatory's in the world.
It's where most of the solar flare photos come from that you see in science magazines.
By the way, Big Bear has the bragging rights to state we have 300 days of clear blue skies,
which is why every photographer heads out on a cloudy day to watch the sunset by the lake.
