Halloween was originally called "Feast of the Dead". It was believed that time stood still, and souls of the dead roamed the land. Certain children were chosen to be burned alive on "Bone fires" as offering to the sun. The fat left over was fashioned into a candle and placed into a carved pumpkin. What's so happy about Happy Halloween? It's not a holiday, although second to Christmas.

It originated with the Celtic Druids, pagans who worshipped Satan and all demonic things. It's a gruesome history, this is just a very small bit of what they actually did! 8( Thanks Billy for looking.

I can,t celebrate Halloween but it,s nice to know one day a year I look normal or much better looking than this guy..Got to go now I love those trick or treat goodies. Happy Halloween to all the goblins,were wolves and Vampires. Nikondaddy

great entry! i just like watching the kids! my son had a costume like this when he was about six...he so had to have it!! come halloween nite, we got him dressed...he was sooo excited....passed by the mirror and scared himself!!! it was so cute! one of my fav memories.
