This is beautiful. I am not sure if you are doing any post processing, but if you have the tools, you might think about adding a touch more contrast, and making sure the levels are spot on. Just a tad magic would totally give this a little more life. It is beautiful.

I love seeing your photos from Lake Superior and Northern WI! We will be driving through your area today heading from our home in Two Harbors to the Upper PI. I bet we post a few photos from the Porkies! Keep up the great work!

Location
This photos was taken on the south shore of the Chequamegon Bay in Ashland, WI.Time
It was taken in mid day.Lighting
Natural soft box with the cloud coverEquipment
I used the Panasonic Lumix no flash, tripod or extra lens, except a open car window for stability.Inspiration
I have been trying to get a photo of this eagle for almost 12 years on my way to and from work and when I was heading into Ashland with my family for some family necessities I spotted it on the other side of the road. I slammed on the brakes at the small turn around on the highway where I nearly tipped the car over from turning it so quickly to stopping in front of the majestic eagle. My husband was on the passenger side and he rolled down his window and knocked on the side of the car to get him/her to look up from it's lunch where I was able to snap this photo while leaning over my husband on the passenger window sill.Editing
pumped up the contrast a little and a little cropping is all that was done to the photo. In my camera bag

It takes patience and perseverance to get the shot.
