Behind The Lens

Location

Taken = in my home studio.

Time

More than likely, I took this in the morning. It was probably my breakfast! After I cut the cantaloupe - I just liked the 1/2 smile image.

Lighting

I generally always shoot from about 45 angle with my soft box - so I think this was the same - the highlights seem to indicate so. I hate to be vague on this; it was shot a few years ago, in a place I have since moved from, and I just don't remember all of the specifics.

Equipment

NIkon D800, 50 mm, hand held, (just a tad soft)

Inspiration

This was just a matter of seeing something that was interesting - I like to shoot close-ups of things, that inspire thought or a lingering view.

Editing

none to speak of -

In my camera bag

I rarely go anywhere without my Nikon 18-300mm, and my Sigma 15-30mm. These 2, cover anything I need to shoot! My main body is Nikon D800, and I have a D300 as backup. Also, always in the bag is Nikon SB900 or SB910 flash unit.
