A beautiful surprise awaited me as I pulled into one of my regular spots to take photos.. A Spoonbill bird in the wild! I've never seen one outside of aquariums and zoos and this one was right in front of me within 3 - 20 feet! I stayed for 1 1-2 hours just snapping shots. It is absolutely beautiful. Depending on how the sun hit the bird, the pink would be very light and other times still light yet such soft color and more color showed as in this photo. White head with soft pink feathers and red legs... I will post another one or two. Enjoy!
