Now, why would I run and hide underground when nature is literally spiraling out of control? Fortunately, this aspiring tornado never gained the gumption to touch down--but if it had, I wouldn't be "seeking shelter" under a mattress in a bathtub or whatever it is you scaredy cats do when it's tornado time. What can I say? Watching tornados on the front porch in Oklahoma is as traditional as gathering together around the table for Thanksgiving. No fear!
