Location
This picture was taken in Punta Arenas, Patagonia, Chile. This shipwreck is called Lord Lonsdale.Time
2013, about 17.00 I was on the road to visit "Puerto del Hambre" and "Fuerte Bulnes". I took this picture from a van.Lighting
The ship always made me think about ghost. I tried to keep this feeling using a basic BW effect.Equipment
Nikon d7000, 18-55 mm. I didn't use flash.Inspiration
I've always dreamed of Patagonia, the plain and dry landscapes, it's history and beautiful abandoned places. Lord Lonsdale is one of many Shipwrecks around the territory and I always watched pictures on internet before taking the flight over 3.500 KM from Santiago to Punta Arenas. Making the dream coming true was real :)Editing
Basis Lightroom editing: Croping, BW, exporting for web.In my camera bag
My old d7000 and my 18-55 mm lens. nothing more.Feedback
Always keep searching other perspectives, walk alone, take your time and try to catch your emotion at the angle you're aiming. Have fun always!
