Location

I took this photos during tall ships regatta at Greenwich this summer on 05.09.2014 Because of the crowds it was incredibly hard to find the good place and find the best composition with the ships. But finally I made it from the top of the Nando's restaurant.

Time

As you can see on the picture it was late night around 8PM.

Lighting

I didn't use any lighting. I did it on the long exposure.

Equipment

Nikon D7000, Nikkor 17-50 f2.8, tripod, remote control

Inspiration

I want to try fireworks photos for ages, but there was always something else to do... but finally I found the all ships regatta event with the fireworks. And I went there to capture it.

Editing

Yes, I done post-processing. But it was just standard things like correct brightness and sharpening.

Nikon D7000, Nikkor 17-50 f2.8, Nikkor 50 f1.4

Feedback

Take the camera with you and try to capture fireworks. Only practice can learn you how to do it ;) You only need to remember that the most impressive fireworks ar at the end of the show. And you need to release the shutter between explosion to get more fireworks on your picture.
