Thank you all for the kind words. Great to see ones work appreciated...This image was taken in Tanzania in the Serengeti. We were following this leopard for about 3 hours, however unlike other places where you can drive where you want, in the Serengeti you have to stick to the designated roads and it was too far away in the trees. It tried to make a kill a few times and failed, then disappeared in tall grass, thinking we lost it. 10 mins go by and it reappears right by our car, walking casually, stopping for a drink, grooming....and walking on the road. We follow it slowly and then perches itself on a tree right by the road. It could not have been a better location. It stayed there in different positions for about an hour, very happy to be photographed by the long train of fast approaching cars. It was an amazing sight and one that i will probably never forget. This was shot with the 5DMarkIII and the EF 500mm f/4L IS II USM.
