The Family Bible

I have had this family Bible for 22 years and I do not know how long mother had it... Knowing who it belong to and who's hands have held it brings about quite an emotion. I had, sometime ago, sent it to a book repair, and they returned it as un-repairable. Yet, out of respect of all the ones life that it has touched, I have kept it. I have copied the family information pages and gave it out all the ones that I thought would care to have it for family record.

Now, I am getting old, not as old as this book (published 1923) that I have continued to care for, and I have share pages with others. I have cut out powerful verses and mailed them and used them in cards and scrap books. It bothered me and I struggled about using it that way... But better to be used than it to be in a box in the garage and not shared.

Photography is my hobby and delight... I am making my last attempt to preserve the 'Family Bible' in the only way I have and still be able to share it.
