We keep hearing a thud on the rooftops around us - what is that? we wonder...High up in a rambutan tree next to the ocean in Puerto JimÃ©nez, Costa Rica (Puntarenas province), a majestic scarlet macaw (Ara macao) picks off fruit one by one, removes & drops the furry shell, and reveal a sweet gelatinous orb within.
