Epecuén

On 10 November 1985, the enormous volume of water broke the rock and earth embankment that protected the people of Epecuén, and flooded much of the town. The town disappeared. By 1986, the town was 4 m. underwater, coming in 1993 to more than 10 m ... Today the water was removed and left a ghost town, corroded by salt and time.
