Behind The Lens

Location

This is my very first digital photo. It was taken at my local botanic garden way back in 2003.

Time

This was taken early afternoon. The sun was shining brightly and I loved the way it fell on my photo.

Lighting

The lighting was 100% normal. The sun was all I needed for this shot.

Equipment

I used an old Canon Power shot camera and didnt need any other equipment. I was an amateur then and all I had at that time was my camera and an old camera bag.

Inspiration

I love taking nature shots and I also am fascinated by flowers. That day I ended up photographing many pink flowers. This however was my very favorite. It seemed very peaceful and relaxing!

Editing

No,I had no idea what post-processing was, as I was still a complete amateur at that time.

In my camera bag

I usually have my camera, flash, charger, lens cap, cleaning cloth, manual, and extra batteries in my camera bag.

Feedback

Patience is needed as well as having a good eye. Im still an amateur but I have learned so much from this website and from all my regular followers.I have been on ViewBug for almost seven years and I have gained alot of technical knowledge from these followers.I also highly recommend going to places that have beautiful examples of nature all around them, such as parks, garden stores,arboreteums, and of course flower nurseries where there is an abundance of beauty all around.
