This was the shot I came to Glacier National Park for, the Grinnell Lake overlook from the Grinnell Glacier Trail. About 2-3rds of the way up the views open up to Lower Grinnell Lake and they are outstanding. The wildflowers were on in full force due to a heavy snowfall followed by a solid week of sunny and cool weather. The result was this spectacular scene that really kept us going up the knee breaking switchbacks before the end of the trail.
