I like the early mornings or before sunset-sunset and first 15-20min after sunset the most for taking pictures. I believe those times are golden hours if you are looking for the best lighting.Equipment

My passion for Autumn colors. I am from Turkey and i have been living in California about 9 years. We don't get those colors in the West Coast much. This picture is very special for me, because all the elements i was hoping for to capture were in one picture! The fog, gorgeous clouds, different shades of red, yellow and orange leaves on birch trees, peacefully running river and different sizes of rocks... What else could i ask for?Editing
I was using Photoshop CS 5 version back then. I did very settled color editing mainly on the reds, oranges and yellows because i wanted those colors to stick out more since the theme is fall foliage and i think bright saturated colors look amazing on grey!In my camera bag
Canon 5D Mark II, canon 50mm f/1.4 canon 16-35mm f/2.8 LII , Canon 17-40mm f/4 L i also rent lenses and other equipment depending on my needs.Feedback
Always be prepared with your gear. definitely carry a graduated ND filter with you. Have your lens cleaning wipes, solution with you( mist from the water was all over my lens) Definitely try different exposures if the water element is in the scene. Don't forget to do HDR, and the most importantly, take your time and be patient until you think you have all the elements you wanted in your picture look perfect.
