In Paris, the place name is Palais de Tokyo;

Slow shuitter speed and a small strobe touch;

Equipment

Nikon D800, Tripdod, Profoto strobe;

Inspiration

I've friend that are professional fire artist; They were going to test new effect with sparkles created by fireworks; Those are particualerly dangerous so need to be handled by professionnal; I wanted to get the feerie created by the artist and the sparkles in front of this wall engraved;

Editing

Just lightroom on that one; So just develoment no retouch;

In my camera bag

Always a Nikon D8xx, a 24-70 2.8 , a 14-24 2.8, some gaffer, the remote control of my strobe, and that's all;

Feedback

Capturing sparkles need slow shutter speed; When playing with fire , the artist shall be very knowledgeable about the risk and how to handle them; Accident occurs; One sparkle like this one on the picture in your eye and you can lose the eye; Also be very carefull with the costumes some can burn easily; The basic rule is to have with you always someone else specialized in fire extinguishing (fire fighter) ready;
