FollowWhite River Falls Power Plant - Oregon
This old power plant was in operation from 1910 to 1960. I spent a lot of time here shooting this old hardware.

Great Shot,Reminds me of a place of my youth, but I had not the mindset to shoot it then.No gone,it only remains in my memory. It was the Power house for the Canarsie Brooklyn New York trolley Line that ran up Rockaway Parkway Brooklyn from 1920-1948. I discovered and visited the defunct Powerhouse back in 1973 with my Stepbrother Stevie. It was located on E 96 th st and ave J at the Corner where the Canarsie High School Track Field is today. So Sorry not come back with Camera, and Work that Place,Black and White AND Color.I think I tried, but by then it was closed up and inaccessible.

I was fascinated by this photograph when I first commented on it. I am so pleased that you have added it to the project METALWORK AND ENGINEERING ITEMS, these once busy steel giants stand as a testament to the skill and ingenuity of the engineers that planned and built them.
