B-W Study 17

I'm trying to develop a stronger eye for B-W so
Sunday (Sept 9) was designated shoot in B-W day. This is one of the photographs I took. Thinking of keeping the camera in B-W mode all week to prolong the challenge.

I did increase the contrast in this after taking. The highlights on the stairs are from a window facing directly towards them. There was too much light to really give the contrast I wanted - but I really liked the arrangement so I took and boosted the contrast.
