False Kiva is located in Canyonlands National Park in Utah. It takes 1 1-2 mile hike, the last 1-2 mile is brutal rock clmbing, to reach to alcove which requires a rather steep climb via switchbacks up the cliff face about 800 feet to actually reach the Kiva. The Kiva was an Anasazi Indian ceremonial gathering place which was abandoned about 700 years ago. This was my second visit to this ancient ruin.
