Was a lovely sunny day, but with just the right amount of cloud to defuse the light nicely.

Equipment

This was taken hand held using my Canon 50d with my beloved 70-300mm lens

Inspiration

There were many different types of birds of prey at this location, but this eagle was just beautiful. She was very quiet, but managed to time my shot perfectly while she decided to have a bit of a shout.

Editing

Apart from a little sharpening and cropping this is as the camera took the photo.

In my camera bag

Always have my trusted 70-300mm, but also usually have with me a 17-55mm, 60mm macro and a set of extension tubes.

Feedback

Take your time and be willing to have a card full of non-keepers. Stick with it and hopefully you'll get what your after eventually.
