Behind The Lens

Location

I was northern Michigan driving around by old long gone farms looking for photos to take and found this one.

Time

It was in the afternoon.

Lighting

I liked the light shining thru roof that was deteriorating.

Equipment

I used my first camera I bought. A Minolta SRT 101. I don't remember which lens I used. I use Kodak Gold 200 color film.

Inspiration

I enjoy the old barns from farms long gone. I liked the big trees framing the building in.

Editing

I used a Minolta Scan Dual IV to scan the film and Photoshop 5 to adjust and clean the photo. This was a perfect photo to convert to B&W. I liked using Channel Mixer to convert to B&W. Now I'm using Gimp and really miss Photoshop which is a lot easier to use.

In my camera bag

I have several different 35mm film cameras and lenses I use. I still don't have a digital camera.

Feedback

Film has a great look different than digital. I enjoy using film from scanning photos to cleaning them.
