Location
I took this photo in the Arctic North of Russia. It is quite a remote oil field location about - 200 km to the nearest town.Time
That was evening at around 9 pm.Lighting
Lighing is natural and changes pretty quick within 10 min here in the Arctic tundra.Equipment
I used my Nikon D90+Nikkor 18-105. No tripod - Handheld. The picture was taken from the top of the sand hill.Inspiration
That day i was inspired by the clouds in the sky and took quite a lot of pictures.Editing
Yes, sure I did some post-processing in CS5 adjusted Shadows/Highllights + High Pass for sharpness.In my camera bag
Depends on situation. My oldie Nikon D90 + Nikkor 75-300 VR, Tokina 11-16. Sometimes tripod.Feedback
I am just an amateur photographer and all i can say most of the pictures turn out better when taken at the late evening or early morning IMHO. Good luck to everyone in constant inspiration of taking amazing photos and sharing them on this wonderfull site. :-)
