I took this photo with my Canon G 1X to Old Bussana.
Is a village of the municipality of Sanremo Liguria Italy. The violent earthquake of February 23, 1887 partly destroyed the village, so as to be completely evacuated by residents who moved about three miles to the valley and founded the town of New Bussana. Totally abandoned for decades, has begun to be inhabited by the end of the fifties by Italian and foreign artists, attracted by the uniqueness of the place, which restructured and made habitable again less damaged buildings. Currently home to an international community of artists, with craft shops and some dining options, so much so that it has become, over the years, a characteristic "artists' village" in a setting from the medieval village.
