Behind The Lens

Location

Kitsalano Beach Vancouver BC Canada

Time

Mid- Day stroll along Kitsalano beach

Lighting

Partialy cloudy day always offer a wide range of light in a short period of time it can go from totaly soft light to blazing sun burst and from behind the giant trees magic happen very easily

Equipment

Sony RX10

Inspiration

I mostly shoot with full frame camera but i had just purchased a backup camera to shoot behind the scene during my shoot and was just testing this brand new Sony RX10. so i went for a stroll and capture that still.

Editing

Crop sensor doesnt deliver the same quality of image as full frame camera so knowing the details would get lost i pushed a few sliders more then i normally would even used Nik HDR filters until i found th image to be visually pleasing...

In my camera bag

I mostly shoot with 70-200 USM II on a 5D 3

Feedback

pay attention to the clouds, and when its grim overcast get out there and shoot! forget golden hour ;)
