Behind The Lens
Location
In Darwin NT, Australia we have the pleasure of beautiful sunsets almost every day of the year. This was taken from my back yard during the wet season. just after the sun had set leaving a beautiful pink hue in the clouds, which looked like magic brewing.Time
On the 3rd of January 2012, at 7.31pmLighting
The sun was still shedding enough lighting to capture the natural colours of the clouds, although the flash helped.Equipment
I used my Canon 600D EOS, to take this photo. My settings were f/5.6, shutter 1/60, ISO-400, with my Canon 50-200 lens, the flash was on.Inspiration
I wanted to capture and share the beauty.Editing
There was no need to alter this photo, as it caught the magic of the moment without editing. In my camera bag
I always have my Canon 50mm, 55-80mm and 50-250mm lenses in my bag, along with my UV filters, Macro attachments, remote control, lens cleaning cloth and a spare battery. I have a Sigma 50-500mm lens for when I go looking for wildlife and I have a 18-200mm lens for when I am travelling.Feedback
Make sure your camera is charged, you are at the right angle to capture the lighting and what you see with your camera and you are having fun.
