Behind The Lens

Location

I took it, in my grand mother's home, it's an old building near the air port ...! with lots of kind neighbors and narrow allies, full of people. I love there ...

Time

As far as I can remember it was about 4 in the afternoon. I had had lunch there ..

Lighting

The sewing machine was near the door of the balcony, it was summer and the sun was shining, hot days in summer, I sat in front of cooler, I took a glance (full of memories) at the machine, I remembered all the clothes she had made for us, I traveled to my childhood, with my cousins and siblings, the difficulties of life, and all the nice days I had ... I thought it worth .. I should have something from my grandmother, something that remains for me, for my daughters and sons, for other people who doesn't know her! but they can love an old woman who is still kind!

Equipment

I used my canon camera. Power shot G12. without anything else! I prefer the nature!

Inspiration

As I said in the past, I just took a look at the sewing machine! I just thought it deserves to survive among all of the moments that die in front our inattentive eyes!

Editing

Yes exactly, I manipulated it in adobe lightroom. I felt it would be beautiful in warm colors which shows the presence of nice summer. I changed exposure and after a little adding sharpness, I reached this final photo.

In my camera bag

Only my camera. because I travel light and fast. I've not been created to stop anywhere and I know it.

Feedback

The only thing I say everywhere is, let your heart shots the photo, close your eyes, when you are pushing the shutter button your heart must tremble, your eyes should be rainy! let your mind to be humble and stand behind your heart, know that our world is full of nice things, I think there was no reason for me to take this shot, but I did it. I let this moment to survive ... and perhaps some day this photo causes my name to survive! and to be remembered by other people in the future! and just perhaps! Thank you all.
