I am a Product of my Memories

My photographs are my memories - they are visual reminders of where I have come from. My memories form me, they are a part of me, they have made me who I am today.

The conceptual idea is basically a human bulletin board. These are all polaroid images from his life, from his first photo as a baby to the photos of his own babies being born. They are the moments that define him and therefore, they are attached to him, they are a part of him. The push pins have secured the photos to his body, symbolizing that our memories cannot be removed from us. The streaks of blood coming from the pins symbolize the pain of the past - the struggle of life and circumstances that God uses to continually form us, mold us and refine us.
