There were 9 access holes of one long cave and I spotted this open-lighted one and I managed to take photo of tem while they rested. The maintenance and preservation of these Rousette Fruit Bats seems uncomplicated, first they manage themselves to look for food so the sanctuary owner has no problem to look for food for this colony. Second, the bats find comfort in the cave, as long as people will not disturb them they will not look for place to move to. Of Course they are farmers' helpers, many people believe that because of these Rousette Fruit Bats, the fruits of Davao City and the neighboring towns are sweet and delicious. And I am pretty sure they really play big role in the vegetation.

I love how you captured the hole and the Rousette fruit bats inside it. It did interest me to look at the place. You are so lucky to capture them.

There are 9 holes in one long cave. this is the hole where I can se them others I have difficulty because it is too dark. I was having a difficulty in exposure because they are dark and the cave is dark also but I bumped up the ISO and it helps.

Zel it is just one long cave and that cave believed to cross the ocean going to Davao City. You need to visit and enjoy the unique characteristics. I suggest you need to stay for one whole night so that you can watch them and hear the sound they produced. They are just like singing.

Miss Elenita, I really enjoyed them. They made lots of noise and I know pretty well that they are helping the fruits of Davao city a lot by all means.
