The Old Man of Storr, looking over the Sound of Raasay - Isle of Skye.

This was a 2hr hike-climb up and once I got to the snow level, it got extremely difficult. Carrying all my camera gear on my back, along with a big heavy tripod, up to the top at around 45° angle and knee deep snow sometimes.

I'd take a couple of steps, take a breather and climb a little more; with every-other step being deep snow - I just can't explain how difficult this was, especially without crampons.

This was shot from my first location, perching rather precariously on a steep edge sat in snow.
